Who we are

We spent years in hospitality in Brixen im Thale in Austria – kitchens, guests, winters that never seemed to end. We loved it, and at some point we wanted to do the same thing somewhere warmer, in a house that was our own.

We found Palazzo Nolfi on a hill near Pergola: four hundred years old, far too big, and exactly right. We restored it room by room, kept every beam and fireplace we could, and put in the comfort a modern guest expects.

What we like most is the evening: guests coming back from the coast or a hike, a glass at the pool, and the question of what we are cooking tomorrow. That is the whole business plan.
